Welcome to Em-brace Beauty

Hi and Thank you for reading my blog. I have started writing many blogs over the years and never quite got going as I felt that I didn't really have much to share but over the last couple of years, I have realised my experience and knowledge within the beauty industry could actually help and be of some guidance for anyone who is feeling a little unsure or confused.

I have to firstly say although I have over 15 years experience in this field, I do not know it all. This industry moves so quick, sometimes even for us therapists it's hard to keep up. What I do know is I am very passionate about the treatments I do and offer. My experience includes working in Spas, salons and clinics as well as working for myself. I am a qualified laser/IPL therapist and also a qualified beauty teacher. I am fully insured.

My greatest passions within my beauty business are the treatments that help you relax from the day to day stress in the world, which can be different for everyone but me personally a facial and massage does the trick.

I have mentioned in past blogs (which are now deleted as I looked back and cringed at them) that I always saw myself as Carrie Bradshaw (from Sex and the city), hoping one day I could make a living from writing on my laptop. I am not the greatest speller so I feel this knocks my confidence with writing even with spell check but I realise now what I can share could be more valuable than worrying about a typo.

I am due to open my books up in October which I am very excited about after becoming a mum again for the 3rd time. I am finding I have to be even more organised than I've ever been as some days can really snowball if one thing is missed, I also understand the importance of self care especially when being a mum.

At Em-brace Beauty I have the ethos of Em-bracing and Em-powering You! Now what this means is that no matter who you are, I want you to embrace your personality while I help empower you so you can reach your beauty goals, I will do this through my consultation process where I find out more about you and what you wish to achieve whilst of course checking the treatment is safe for you. I will only use high quality products and always give 110% in your treatments whether it is the first time you have met me or the 50th time. My aftercare will help you to maintain your treatment benefits at home. Retail products will also be available to help enhance the benefits and effects of treatments I deliver should you so wish.
